The identity was created as a response to the common poorly designed signage and identities for asian supermarkets.
These supermarkets are often a little daunting for some to visit due to their often chaotic nature, a stark contrast to the supermarkets that most are used to.
Oishii Market intends on being fun, accessible and educational with tranlsations on every product and a playful identity that is easy to access.
The stationery is based on traditional Japanese paper and envelope formats as a tribute to the culture.
